1. The role requires high level of expertise in Islamic Retail Banking business which includes, Wealth Management, Bancatakafuland other vanilla products.
2. The candidate must have an appropriate degree from a recognized university.
3. AAOIFI CSAA certificate or any other Islamic Finance certification recognized by AAOIFI.
4. Ability to lead and manage a highly specialized team is mandatory with strong requirements for effective internal and external stakeholder management.
5. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build relationships inside and outside of the organization.
6. A self-starter who has a high drive for results and is motivated by success
7. Strong listening skills with the ability to assimilate information and translate it into business solutions
8. Sound judgment with the ability to make decisions and present recommendations with clarity and conviction to serve the business’ objectives
9. The candidate is required to have a minimum of 20 years of Banking experience with 10 years specialization in Islamic Banking.
10. Ability to think outside of the box for future growth and drive innovation to meet the needs of the customer in a profitable and practical fashion.
