The “Head - Information Security” is responsible for overall direction of all information security functions within the Bank and serves as an expert security advisor to the executive management in the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive information security program in the Bank consistent with corporate strategic plan and vision
Develop information security strategy in support of business strategy and vision of the Bank.
Manage the Information Security Framework across the Bank comprising of development, implementation and maintenance of information security policies, standards, guidelines and practices that support business goals and objectives and to comply with regulatory requirements. Communicate Information Security policies and frameworks to all functions and ensure adherence of the policy framework with all stakeholders to ensure ongoing implementation and maintenance of information security program.
Monitor information security trends internal and external to the organization and keep the executive management informed about information security-related issues and activities affecting the organization.
Monitor advisory boards such as CERTS, iCAT for new vulnerabilities and applicability to Bank’s systems.
Should have one or more of the certifications like CISM, CISSP, CISA, CRISC etc.
Must have a minimum 15 years of experience in IT or information security management function of which a minimum of 8 years experience should be as a Head of Information Security/Information Security Officer with an independent charge of Information security responsibilities managing a sizable team of information security professionals preferably in Banking or Financial sector.
