Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in any relevant field.
• CISA certification is mandatory.
• Preferred professional certification – CPA, ACCA, CIA, and/or other certificates related to the profession from accredited parties.

Experience:

• 15+ years of experience in an audit firm or similar, with exposure to Internal Audit assignments OR experience in the Internal Audit department in a Bank/ Financial Institution.

Business Understanding:

• Expert knowledge of banking operations, products and services.
• Expert knowledge in accounting principles
• Expert knowledge about laws and regulation laid down by the relevant authorities.
